Working principle of gantry crane
As a manufacturer of gantry cranes in Shandong, I would like to introduce the working principle of gantry cranes. Interested friends can follow me to learn more!
1. Structural composition: The gantry crane consists of a main beam, leg supports, and lifting mechanism. The main beam is the main load-bearing part of a crane, usually made of steel structure, with sufficient strength and stiffness to withstand the weight of the lifted object. Leg supports play a role in supporting and stabilizing cranes, usually consisting of steel columns or steel frames.
2. Lifting mechanism: The lifting mechanism of a gantry crane includes lifting machinery, electrical system, and control system. Crane machinery usually consists of crane hooks, crane beams, crane ropes, and crane drive devices. The crane hook is used for hanging heavy objects, the crane beam is the supporting structure of the crane hook, and the crane rope is used for lifting, lowering, and moving heavy objects. The crane drive device is usually driven by an electric motor, which controls the lifting and extension of the crane rope through mechanical devices such as gear transmission.
3. Working mechanism: The working mechanism of a gantry crane is achieved through the collaborative action of the crane beam and crane rope. When the crane beam moves along the main beam, the crane rope will also move, thereby changing the position of the lifted object.
The lifting and extension of the crane rope are controlled by the crane hook on the crane beam, and are achieved through mechanical devices such as electric motors and gear transmissions. The operation and control of cranes are usually completed by operators through control systems, which can achieve operations such as the movement of crane beams, the lifting and extension of crane ropes, etc.
